Nutrients that cannot be replaced - You know what are they?

Yes, what I am going to write is about nutrients that cannot be replaced. In order for you to get enough and well balanced nutrition, you have to acquire this through your diet.

1. Essential amino acids - they are a part of protein and may originate from plants or animals. our body may acquire other amino acids from essential amino acids. But our body cannot produce its own Essential amino acids. So this must be taken from the diet.

2. Essential fatty acids -
these are the likes of polyonsaturated fatty acids such as (linoleic and linolenic acids), they can be obtained from all vegetable oils and dry, oily food especially beans.

3. Vitamins and Minerals - all food supply this component, especially vegetables and fruits.

4. Water - water may be supplied by our other foods, but sadly, we don't drink enough water. It is a good habit to drink at least 8 glasses of water daily.

5. Fibres - only plant-origin foods contains this. Opt for cereals, wholemeal bread, grains and unprocessed flour, oats does provide it and fruits too. Though, not metabolicaly not needed as it cannot be digested, it is VERY essential in keeping our bowels in order.

So next time you eat, keep in mind to put all these nutrition in your mind.

Till then, Eat wisely, live healthily!
